2 Free Fallout Games for Amazon Prime Users

Every month, Amazon Prime subscribers receive free games as well as in-game loot such as skins, chests, booster packs, credits, and more. These games can be redeemed through Prime Gaming itself or on third-party platforms, including Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG, among others. This time, both titles can be redeemed on CD Projekt’s store. These are two installments of the most successful post-apocalyptic role-playing game saga of all time.

Fallout 2

The sequel to the original game takes place 80 years after the events of the first Fallout. This brilliant post-apocalyptic open-world isometric role-playing game was developed by the now-defunct Black Isle Studios, a development studio that operated under the umbrella of Interplay Entertainment. It’s considered a cult classic within the genre and a must-play experience for all fans of the franchise who want to explore more about this fascinating universe. Keep in mind, though, that it’s a rather challenging and somewhat outdated game, so don’t expect the same gameplay dynamics as seen in Bethesda’s most recent installments.

Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel

This is the third installment in the saga, developed by the Australian studio Micro Forté and Interplay Entertainment’s strategy games division, 14° East. This version introduces real-time strategy mechanics, bringing a fresh breath of air to the series. While the game is set in the same universe as its predecessors, in 2007, after Bethesda acquired all rights to the franchise, Todd Howard, the company’s head, announced that Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel is no longer part of the official canon.
