Finally, after more than a year of waiting, Amazon has launched its game streaming platform in Spain, Italy, and France. Luna, Amazon’s cloud gaming service, debuted last March in the United States. To access it, you simply need an Amazon account, and, of course, Prime subscribers have a list of games to enjoy on the platform. You can access it via your PC or mobile device, and it’s also available on Fire TV, Fire tablets, Chromebooks, and Samsung and LG smart TVs.
To complement their new service, Amazon has also released a compatible controller at a promotional price of €40, though its regular price would be €70. While it offers good features, its price outside the promotion is very similar to the official controllers of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, making it less enticing to take the risk. Besides, Amazon Luna is compatible with the controllers of all consoles, so for many users, an additional purchase may not be necessary.

All Amazon Luna Subscriptions

As mentioned earlier, users who have an Amazon Prime subscription will have access to a list of games at no extra cost. It is highly likely that the number of available games will increase over time. The games currently included with Prime are the following:

Luna+
We also have the option to subscribe to Luna+ for a cost of €10 per month, which expands your library with over 100 additional games. Additionally, this includes Luna Couch, a service that allows cooperative play even with people who are not subscribed, similar to Steam’s Remote Play Together feature. Currently, the library consists of just over 100 games, though the catalog will grow over time.
Available titles include:
- Resident Evil 2 Remake
- Batman Arkham Knight
- Alien Isolation
- Devil May Cry 5
- Control Ultimate Edition
- Guacamelee 1 and 2
- Overcooked 1 and 2
- River City Girls
- Blazing Chrome
- Contra Anniversary Collection
- Yakuza Kiwami
- Yakuza Kiwami 2
- Yakuza 3 Remastered
- Yakuza 4 Remastered
- Capcom Arcade Stadium
Jackbox Games
The most affordable subscription, for €5, enables you to play all titles from this developer, including The Jackbox Party Pack 1 through 10 and Drawful 2.
Ubisoft+
Fans of the French publisher will be able to enjoy a vast selection of their games for €18 per month. By linking with Ubisoft Connect, not only can you sync your progress, but you’ll also receive boosters and rewards every month. Subscribing unlocks exclusive titles, such as:
- Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
- Far Cry 6
- The Division 2
- Watch Dogs Legion
- Watch Dogs 2
- Rainbow Six Siege
- The Crew Motorfest
If you prefer not to subscribe to monthly plans, you can also directly purchase the games you want, and they will remain available in your library permanently, just like any other gaming store.
Amazon has long been making strides in the video game industry, and having its own cloud gaming platform is undoubtedly a significant step forward. Now, it remains to be seen whether they can forge ahead successfully or face complete failure, as was the case with Google Stadia.
