Last Thursday, the official\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon TCG Pocket<\/strong>\u00a0account revealed the upcoming expansion set to launch for the popular mobile game this very week. Titled\u00a0Temporal Clash<\/strong>, it will include two decks, one for Dialga and another for Palkia, along with several highly anticipated new features. Below, we detail everything known so far.<\/p>

New Pok\u00e9mon, Trainer, and Tool Cards<\/h2>

This expansion focuses on the Sinnoh region and will allow players to collect Pok\u00e9mon from the fourth generation. During the video preview, we caught a glimpse of the key highlights of each deck, Dialga and Palkia, as well as the three basic Pok\u00e9mon from that region. Other Pok\u00e9mon from the expansion include Pachirisu Ex, Leafeon, Honchkrow, Gible, and Cresselia.<\/p>

For now, the only Trainer Card revealed was Cynthia, which boosts the damage of your Garchomp or Togekiss by 50 points during the next turn. It\u2019s likely, however, that this won\u2019t be the only Trainer Card introduced in this expansion.<\/p>

Pok\u00e9mon Tool Cards<\/h2>

One of the types of cards players of the original game have deeply missed are\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Tool Cards<\/strong>, which can be attached to a Pok\u00e9mon to grant them a special ability or attribute. During Pachirisu Ex\u2019s brief appearance in the trailer, it was shown that its attack deals 40 additional damage if it has a Pok\u00e9mon Tool attached. Although none of these cards have been fully revealed yet, their inclusion could logically bring added versatility to the game, potentially reshaping the meta forever.<\/p>

Card Trading Finally Arrives<\/h2>

Arguably the most awaited and demanded feature since the game\u2019s launch has been the ability to trade cards with friends. At long last, this feature will become available when\u00a0Temporal Clash<\/strong>\u00a0is released.<\/p>

Several details about how in-game card trading will function have already been disclosed. First, trading will only be possible between friends, and trades must involve cards of the same rarity level. The tradeable rarity levels range from \u2666 to \u2666\u2666\u2666\u2666 and \u2605. For now, only cards from\u00a0Dominant Genes<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0The Singular Island<\/strong>\u00a0sets will be eligible for trades, though developers have clarified that they plan to expand this in the future.<\/p>

Trades will be conducted one at a time and will require a consumable item in order to proceed. This item presumably recharges over time, up to a maximum limit, and will likely have its own timers to speed up its recovery. This system appears modeled after how magical selections work, but with a new item created specifically for trading.<\/p>

When Does the New Expansion and Its Features Arrive?<\/h2>

The new expansion will be available in Spain on\u00a0Thursday, January 30th<\/strong>, so hopefully, you\u2019ve been saving up your hourglasses!
